Veterinary Charitable Care Grant Program.

image
The NAVA National Veterinary Charitable Care Grant Program (NVCCGP) offers a solution that helps animals get the care they need while promoting the wellbeing of the veterinary community and those we serve.

The NVCCGP provides NAVA members who provide low or no-cost veterinary services to animals with funding for treatment of illness or conditions requiring immediate care for owners experiencing financial hardship due to Covid-19 or domestic violence. Grant applicants may be reimbursed in full or in part for the cost of care using expense codes contained in the online application form, up to $500 for care related to COVID-19 for a total not to exceed $2,000 per applicant per calendar year (January through December). These caps allow us to help as many animals and members as possible for requests in this category. Currently, there is no maximum grant amount for domestic violence-related veterinary care. For details, see frequently asked questions.
